Skeletal Replacement
Hi,
Skeletal Replacement is a card that says:
Attached gains Mechanical, Resilient, and Unsavory. The attached increases their capacity by 1.
Mechanical means the may not have restored by crew abilities, or unless the effect specifically indicates it will restore to Mechanical , and a Resilient card restores missing or during stage 4 of the ready phase at no cost.
So, Resilient never works on the member this card is attached to it, and if that's the case then I don't understand why this card has both keywords, what am I missing?
Thanks.

Re: Skeletal Replacement
You're not missing anything, this was a great catch! The intent is for the Resilient to work on the attached . We'll add this to the errata.pvanniervp wrote: ↑Fri Mar 12, 2021 4:37 pm

Thanks, Jeff!
I noticed the FAQ/Errata document is dated January 2018, do you have any plans to publish a newer version soon?
Cheers!

Hello there,
Has there been an errata decision made?

Re: Skeletal Replacement
So this is not an "official" ruling yet, but the expectation is that the definition of Mechanical will be expanded to allow it to benefit from restoring effects provided by the same source that provides Mechanical. You can play it this way until it becomes official, as I don't expect it to change.
In such a case, since Skeletal Replacement gives both Mechanical and Resilient, it will restore to the attached character.

Brilliant! Thank you for the clarification, even if not 100% official yet.
