Ashburn VA Event

Six Travellers (including Ian and me) turned out for the first demo/game-play event at Huzzah Hobbies in Ashburn, Virginia and a fun time was had by all! Several two-player games were played focusing on introducing the game to one new player and refining the understanding of the system for the other players who had previously been introduced to Traveller CCG. Unfortunately we ran out of time for a three- or four-player multiplayer game, but we hope to try one soon.
Many thanks to Ian for making time during his vacation to spend time with us at Huzzah! Ian also brought along some ship decks that the players received.
Several other people stopped by to check out the game without joining us, which resulted in another demo for two of them scheduled for Thursday afternoon, 15 March, at 3PM. If you are in the area and available you are more than welcome to join us.
Things are looking good for establishing semi-regular Traveller CCG demo/game-play/deck building events at the store, especially with the help of Huzzah employee Joe who is firmly on-board with the game. These weekday evening and weekend events will be added to the Horizon calendar as they are scheduled.
