Hello Everybody!

Just staring to teach myself to play and have a question about tracking Contracts selected during stage 2 of the Adventure Phase. How does a captain track which Contract they have chosen? Is this public knowledge, i.e., does your opponent know which Contract you have chosen? Would it be useful to have some sort of "captain token" one could put on a contract to indicate the contract currently being pursued?

I'm curious to know how others deal with this?

I assume it is public knowledge. The example on page 36 of the rulebook makes it sound like they announce which Contract "Ahab" is going after. Also, I think it wouldn't work in a tournament situation for this to be secret.

I've been using a glass bead of to mark the contract, but a spaceship miniature would be better.

It is public knowledge. Typically players put their ship card near the contract they're pursuing.
