2021 - Moving Forward

So, 2020 didn't go as planned, hardly surprising. I had things to worry about besides the pandemic, and I wasn't as focused on Traveller. In 2021, there's a hope that I can focus more on Traveller. With people being stuck not interacting with each other in person, we didn't push as hard as we could ...

Re: Least Favorite Cards

Well, I don't have a tremendous amount of experience with the card pool, but Thulse is one I've struggled to use. The access to :combat+ for :credit1 is nice, but I have yet to find a use for him beyond his icon and his hit points. Once I start comparing him to other cards with :combat+ , it gets h...

Re: Easter Egg Hunt!

Btw, there are things that could be considered Easter Eggs that are not known to the full design team. Not that I would expect certain references to be caught by the wider audience, but there are cards that haven't been mentioned even if the precise reference would be unfathomable.

Least Favorite Cards

May be hard for playtesters to notice, but Jeff and I are still working on card ideas. One thing that we run into frequently is our biases in terms of what we like and dislike in customizable card games. But, we don't represent a large enough sample size to reflect the audience. I know cards that ar...

Re: Solo Card Ideas - Comments please!

While more relevant to another thread, following up on your last comment, Wargfn mentioned a style of play to me that he would find interesting. Maybe he can detail it. But, yes, our interest in a coherent solo campaign set combines several goals of which two of them are: more adventure cards for an...

Re: Solo Card Ideas - Comments please!

Jeff and I talked yesterday about solo play. In my playing various games solitaire, I'm looking for payoff to my decisions and the feeling of challenge as I usually (but most definitely not always) win. While I play something kind of like FreeCell a lot, I often question why as it's a solvable exper...

Re: Using Advanced Solutions, Inc. to look at complications you can't normally look at?

We may need to clarify the clarification. When a complication is attached to a contract automatically, you may use Advanced Solutions, Inc. to draw two additional cards. Drawing cards normally means you get to look at cards drawn, where the exception is that the auto-attached complication to a new c...

Re: Promo cards / Future expansions?

In general terms, shorter term goals are another ship pack and a solo oriented product through print on demand. Also, we do have interest in reprinting certain cards. The retail release of Rogue's Gallery and Central Supply Catalog has been impacted by pandemic, and that should circulate for a time ...
