Re: Finch & Cho, CPAs
Each time a source gives you one or more VPs, add a counter. So, if you complete a contract that provides 3vps, you get one counter. If it also had two subplots, each giving you one more VP and you resolved both of the subplots, two more counters, one for each source of a VP. If Dramatic Negotiation...

Re: What is "Hindrance"?
Hindrance has a more modest meaning than you think it does. A gear or upgrade with Hindrance also gains Integral and Trifling. Some cards reference Hindrance, such as EnviroSafe Vacc Suit. That's it, mechanically. The rest about deleterious effects and whatnot is to help players understand why they ...

Re: Solo Play Saturdays!
Thanks for letting us know about your games. There should be a new article soon where I get into how we are interested in what the players are looking for out of the game. So, thoughts on why certain scenarios are fun or not fun can be helpful to us as we try to provide the tools to let people play ...

Re: Diverse Dynamics
I assume that means the :vp disappear with the card, so it's only useful when the action will give you enough :vp to win during that round or when you are forced to pay a :vp from a card effect like being a Subsidized Merchant that was the victim of Piracy during the round, correct? The counters go...

Re: Solo Scoring
One reason to try decks out solo is to test how they would play competitively. Probably not the main reason for Traveller Card Game players, but a reason. Along those lines, how many rounds you win in likely the most relevant metric. I won a tournament game with half my deck in my discard pile on ro...

Re: Question about Promo Cards....
For various card games I have played, not every promo card was available for sale from the publisher. For instance, there were promo cards specifically provided either as event prizes or for volunteer activity. At this point, that is our philosophy for some of the promo cards, so access would be lim...

Re: Origins Game Fair & Gen Con
Thank you everyone who attended the Origins intros and/or helped us out with thoughts, handouts, additional giveaways. Even though Jeff reminded me, I still forgot to take pictures. I'll work on a writeup of Origins, but, if anyone has any thoughts on how to run similar events better in the future, ...

Re: Default deck lists
I just tried checking out the product details. I didn't notice anything unusual. Hopefully, just a temporary phenomenon.

Game Kastle Fremont CA Demos
I have two demos lined up for Game Kastle Fremont this month. 3911 Washington Blvd, Fremont, CA 94538 Thursday, May 16th, 6PM. This was suggested by the store due to the boardgame Meetup that occurs on Thursdays. Saturday, May 18th, Noon. In both cases, looking at four hour durations for the demos.
