Must say we as a group have been loving the new look Mongoose version. Very pretty and some great rule tweaks. And streamlined to make play easy.

I'd go for the classic, patrol cruiser, safari ship and lab ship. Keeps within the 100-400 t class ships, and are all the types the average group games in.
